How can digital technology enhance our experience of theatre? How can it be used to push beyond boundaries in storytelling? Where is the line between 'new immersive experience' and 'tech for tech sake'? How can we balance digital innovation without losing substance to the story?

This session with Inside Theatre's founder, Beck Gadsby, will look at the applied uses of digital tech in theatre. Looking at some of theatre's innovators and discussing who's making it and who's breaking it. The session will end with a look at the future and what it could look like.

Inside Theatre delivers tech solutions to the theatre and has created the world's first immersive theatre design app. Currently touring '5 Years' by Hayley Davis, which uses ground-breaking Hologram effects.

If you’re looking for an introduction into how to use existing technology to create immersive experiences within live performance, this is the session for you.

This session will be relaxed throughout, providing the opportunity for you to ask as many questions as you like.

This online event is FREE TO attend. It will take place via Zoom. Places are LIMITED.
